Bits and Pieces

A new contest is up to help get through the winter. Click on the contest link to see the details.

Lecture Archive

Found via Wired magazine, the UC Berkeley lecture archive. Lots of fun stuff there to waste time listen to.

Finally, in honor of the upcoming holiday, a video via YouTube. Have a great weekend.

Oooooo...I so want that prize (signed by the author of my favourite story in Sporty Spec! Well, one of my two favourite stories -- gotta show my own babies some love).

But it feels wrong. Is it wrong? Can I be a fan just like anybody else?

I think it's very important in the early stages of fame and fortune that we writers are fans and supporters of each other.

I mean, who else is going to kick us in the ass later when we get too full of ourselves?

The lecture archive is pretty sweet. Thanks, Todd!
I thought of you today because while at the library I saw a sign for "Title Wave - Arlington Public Library Winter Reading Program for Adults 1/14-2/22."

Hey DD,

Libraries rock. I'll count on you to participate in this year's virtual summer reading program. Last year was a success.
