Boskone 45 Pre-Flight
It would be nice if the Boskone website posted the program more than 6 5 days before the event. It would also be nice if the participants names were linked to their websites and blogs.
You know, on the off chance anyone going to the convention might be interested in reading a bit about the people they are paying to listen to, talk with, and be around? Crazy talk, I guess.
So, for my benefit, and anyone else interested, the program participants of Boskone 45 are linked below. Apologies to anyone I couldn't identify via Google.

Thanks for going to the trouble to set this up, Todd. I'll look forward to seeing you at Boskone.
Darlene
Thank you, Darlene. I'll be sure to say hello.
I found your comments from last year on the 'Business of Writing' panel to be very helpful.
Perhaps the reason they weren't more forthcoming is program participants like me who stonewalled the issue of whether we were coming until the last possible moment. (I have schedule conflicts on both ends so will attend the middle of the con.)
Hi Kathryn,
A valid point and reason enough not to put 'Mostly Final' on any information until the start of the convention. However, I would find a much earlier release of tentative details very helpful.
I will try to either attend one of the conference feedback panels or otherwise convey my whining gripes *ahem* suggestions to the appropriate con organizer.
Thanks for stopping by!
I expect to see pictures after the con. Especially the one with you, Weber and Honor.
Ah nuts.
Was that part of the contest rules, Nathan? I don't recall any requirements for celebrity photo posing.
You mean I have to warn you about my expectations?
Todd,
Great report. The book narrating toiletside -- now THERE'S something you don't see every day.
One note: the Robert Kuhn who's the program participant at Boskone is NOT the Robert Kuhn linked to. I know because the con guy is my quite-talented-and-accomplished-himself bro-in-law.
regards,

"narrating toiletside"
Heh. Nice literary euphemism.
Thank you for pointing out the link problem, Bob.
That's a real public service, Todd. I won't mention any cons BY NAME, but some of them are far worse about such matters than Boskone.
In fairness, I should have noted that Boskone didn't even list the participants names last year (or the year before, or the year before that, or ...)
So, any progress is good.
