Days 10 & 11
Night Shifts: 2
Soccer Games: 1
In-laws Over For Dinner: 7
Words: 833
How'd I ever write 833? It's a miracle.
That nano-meter in the sidebar is looking rather sad. Have to do something about that this week.
To continue the parade of characters, here is Jorge. He's a minor functionary with ambitions who falls in love with Roz. Too bad for him, as she holds his fate in her hands (sounds familiar, eh?).

Hah! I'm a little over 8k right now. I suck the most!
Time to pull out a few 5k days. I have a handful of index cards with scene ideas on them (oh noes, am I becoming an...an...outliner?!?!), time to whip them out and put them to use.
Good luck catching up to your goals!
Your dudely characters are some mighty sharp dressers, my man.
Nice camo shoes, but white pants? After labor day? I'm starting to think that liking Roz isn't his only problem. :)
Cheryl, on the contrary, you are trying. The people who have failed are those currently stuck at 1k, or even 0! They didn't even start!
As you say, a few 5k days and you're back on track.
Camille & Steve,
Thanks for the compliments; cartoons are easy to dress. In real life, there is a reason why I do not buy clothes for my daughter ("What? Orange and blue and green don't go together?")
I'm going for a kind of naval-white pseudo-military uniform theme.
